Storms
"Bad weather makes for good photography." - Ansel Adams
Stormy weather is our passion. We photograph it because we wish to express to others what we feel standing under the storm, whipped by the wind, and drenched by the rain. Add drama to your life, bring our storms into your home as art quality prints!

Kansas Lightning - Sitka- May 8, 2013
Artist: Brian Morganti
I always love photographing lightning when there is at least some remnants of daylight. This photograph was taken after sunset when the storm clouds were adding to the darkness. Yet there was just enough ambient light remaining to paint the sky in pastel colors behind the lightning strike. This cloud to ground (CG) lightning strike exhibited a few delicate branches of lightning, which are always prized by lightning photographers. A 3 second exposure at ISO50 with a Canon 5D MII at 105mm f6.0.
