Mammatus Sunset – Woodward, Oklahoma – May 18, 2019

There were several severe warned storms in the Oklahoma Panhandle on this day that also included a tornado. I found myself out of position for the tornado but did get the consolation prize of a beautiful field of fiery mammatus at days end as I followed these storms to the east. I finished the storm day in western Oklahoma watching this beautiful display of ragged mammatus clouds being bathed in red light by the setting sun.
