Prairie Schoolhouse - Hemingford Nebraska

This may be one of the most photographed school houses in all of the Great Plains and a frequent stop for any chaser who has been around more than a couple of years. I photographed this one often, but each time it looks different and always looks best in "storm light". I shot this photo back in 2005, and I last saw it in 2019. It is still standing, but time and weather has certainly taken its toll.
