Dallas Divide Sunset - Last Dollar Road - Ridgway, Colorado

The setting sun shining through breaks in the clouds creates a matrix of sun and shadows on the Dallas Divide Mountain range as viewed from Last Dollar Road. I waited patiently for just the right light and angle of the sun in order to capture all the mountain peaks to be set aglow at the same time in the fading sunlight. The sun only peaked through the clouds a couple of times and I was fortunate to capture a rapid 5 shot composite of this pretty scene during one of those brief moments.
