One of the highest mountain peaks in the state of Colorado, majestic 14,157' Mt Sneffels is viewed here from one of the most beautiful valleys in the state.
I waited until late in the day to set up for this photograph along County Road 7 which is located a little south of the town of Ridgeway, Colorado. Mt Sneffels is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the San Juan Mountains, and photographers traveling this lonely 8 mile road are presented with many "dream come true" photographic opportunities.
