Pink Canyon - Valley of Fire State Park - Nevada

Pink Canyon is not marked on most park maps and there is no sign or parking area at its entrance points. Once located, it is best to hike this canyon in the early morning or late evening when the canyon colors seem to glow with their own light. I took this photo during the evening hours after sunset about a half-mile from the nearest park road.
