Mountain Wildflowers - Rustler Gulch Trail - Crested Butte, Colorado

My main goal on this July summer day was to take a hike on Rustler Gulch Trail, which can be found north of Gothic, Colorado. A stream crossing and steep narrow 4x4 road leads to the trail head, and from there several more stream crossings on foot are necessary. Other than getting my feet wet, this was a nice level hike with wonderful hillside views of assorted wild flowers. Mountain Sunflowers and Wild Blue Flax cover the hillside in this beautiful view found near the trail head.
