Traveling along County Road 5 south of Ridgeway Colorado I just had to stop and capture this scene as the morning sun set these Aspen leaves aglow. The Aspen trees often achieve peak Autumn color by late September or Early October in Colorado, but this is largely dependent on elevation. The moment had arrived for this location and I couldn't wait to see what might lie around that bend!
