The Needles district of Canyonlands National Park is not visited as often its northern Island in the Sky counterpart, but does offer some very unique views for those willing to hike. This dramatic scene of the "Needles" spires and foreground mushroom rock formations was photographed along the Chesler Trail, a 10.5 mile loop for those having the time and stamina to see all this section of the park has to offer.
